Assessing the impacts of forest cover change on carbon stock and soil moisture dynamics is critical for understanding environmental degradation and guiding sustainable land management. This study evaluates the effects of forest cover change on carbon stock and soil moisture dynamics in Nensebo Forest from 1993 to 2023 using geospatial techniques. Landsat imagery including TM (1993), ETM + (2009), and OLI/TIRS (2023) were used.

Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is a sustainable technique for making wastewater reusable for non-potable purposes. However, in developing countries, most conventional WWTPs are not equipped to trap all pharmaceutical residues (PRs) and pharmaceutically active chemicals (PhACs). This study aims to perform non-target screening of these contaminants in wastewater and explore health and environmental hazards and the removal efficiency of a WWTP in Malaysia.

The study aimed to determine whether the implementation of HIRAID improved the accuracy of nurses' documentation across a large rural health district.
Methods: A Quasi-experimental pre-post study design was conducted across 10 rural emergency departments between November 2020 and November 2021, with HIRAID implemented in February 2021.

Objectives: Restriction of life space mobility is associated with adverse health outcomes including depression, morbidity, mortality and poorer quality of life. In this study, we aimed to determine the impact of COVID-19 and associated employment loss on the life space of older adults in Singapore.
Methods: An in-person survey was administered to a cohort of older Singaporeans above 50 years old (N = 1,118).

Introduction: Pathway-driven, post-pancreatectomy opioid reduction interventions have proven effective and sustainable and may have a "halo effect" on other major abdominal cancer operations. This study's aim was to analyze the sequential effects of expanding opioid reduction efforts from pancreatectomy on opioids prescribed after hepatectomy.
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study utilizing data from the electronic health record and a prospective quality improvement database for consecutive hepatectomy patients (09/2016-02/2024).
