Single ventricle is a rare congenital heart disease, typically diagnosed with dyspnea and cyanosis. The number of patients who reach adulthood without having undergone surgical treatment is limited due to poor prognosis. While some reports describe patients who have reached the 2nd and 3rd decades of life, it is very interesting that the case of the patient who has lived the longest with unoperated single ventricle is reported in Turkey.
Background: The behavioral disorder is characterized by a profound abnormality in an individual's cognition, emotion or behavior that reflects in psychological, biological or developmental dysfunction. Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is a long-term sequel of single or recurrent acute rheumatic fever. Children with RHD are thought to be at increased risk for behavioral problems due to autoimmunity seen in pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS).
Objectives: This study evaluated countermovement jump and Single Leg Jump measures to identify landing measures that best distinguish a novel Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction technique using bone marrow aspirate, demineralized bone matrix, and suture tape augmentation patients from controls. The secondary objective assessed performance differences between operated and non-operated limbs post-reconstruction. The hypothesis was that novel Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction patients at return to sport would not differ from controls during landing and that the operated limb's performance would not differ from the unoperated limb.
Background: An open wedge high tibial osteotomy (OWHTO) may lead to gait alteration, which change the contact loading in the contralateral knee, while clear evidence about the impact on contralateral knee still lacks. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the change in scintigraphic uptake using SPECT-CT in the medial compartment of the contralateral knee following OWHTO.
Methods: Contralateral radiographic measurements were performed for patients with medial osteoarthritis and varus malalignment of >5° treated with OWHTO in this retrospective analysis.

Background: Vascular rings represent 1% of congenital cardiovascular abnormalities. Phenotypic expression varies from asymptomatic to severe forms related to either oesophageal or tracheal compression. While refinement in prenatal screening led to an increase in fetal diagnosis, optimal management in asymptomatic neonates and infants is currently a matter of debate.
