Objectives: As professional voice users, speech and language pathologists (SLPs) follow vocal hygiene behaviors both in the rehabilitation of voice disorders and in preventive interventions to reduce the risk among healthy users. However, it is curious to what extent SLPs adhere to vocal hygiene and healthy vocal behaviors and how this affects vocal fatigue. This study aims to investigate the extent to which SLPs perform vocal hygiene behaviors, their levels of vocal hygiene, and vocal fatigue.

Background: Some mammals including the swine carry a fibrous vestigial clavicle, but a subclavius muscle (SBM) extends between the first rib and the supraspinatus muscle surface fascia. We aimed to examine development of the SBM and clavicle for finding a specific factor to provide the curious morphology.
Materials And Methods: Histological sections of early- and midterm fetuses of the swine, human and mouse were observed and compared at the almost same morphological stage.

Study Question: Are donor-conceived adults in Belgium interested in obtaining donor information, and do these interests vary based on their family backgrounds?
Summary Answer: Donor-conceived adults express a significant interest in obtaining donor-related information, with the highest interest reported by offspring from heterosexual couples compared to those from lesbian couple-parented or single-parent families.
What Is Known Already: In Belgium, sperm donation is mainly anonymous, but the rise of direct-to-consumer genetic testing challenges this anonymity.
Study Design, Size, Duration: This was a cross-sectional study involving an online nationwide survey conducted from July 2022 to October 2023.

ConspectusSingle-benzene fluorophores (SBFs) are small molecules that produce visible light by using only one benzene ring as the sole aromatic core. This Account centers around the chemistry of a new class of SBF that we accidentally discovered but rationally developed and refined afterward. In a failed experiment that took an unintended reaction pathway, we encountered the bright green fluorescence of -diacetylphenylenediamine ().

Background: Anemia has up to 87% prevalence in high tuberculosis (TB) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) burden settings of the sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) including Ethiopia. It increases lost to follow-up (LTFU) rate, reduces quality of life, and shortens the survival of TB/HIV coinfected patients. However, there is limited information on severity level and determinants of anemia in TB/HIV coinfected adults in the study setting in particular.
