Objective: The study measured the perceived value of an academic library's embedded librarian service model.
Setting: The study took place at the health sciences campuses of a research institution.
Methods: A web-based survey was distributed that asked respondents a series of questions about their utilization of and satisfaction with embedded librarians and services.
Results: Over 58% of respondents reported being aware of their embedded librarians, and 95% of these were satisfied with provided services.
Conclusions: The overall satisfaction with services was encouraging, but awareness of the embedded program was low, suggesting an overall need for marketing of services.

Objective: This qualitative research project was undertaken to discover how students perceive the embedded librarian in their nursing class. The researchers determined how a required group research meeting was valued by students and whether that value warranted the necessary time and energy by an embedded librarian.
Methods: Researchers conducted focus groups with twenty-three students from two different sections of the same nursing research methods undergraduate course.

There is a 17-year gap between the publication of research which proves an intervention is efficacious and effective and the implementation of that same intervention into practice [1]. In behavioral health, only 14% of successful interventions are integrated into actual practice [2]. As such, Implementation Science is envisioned to address the research to practice gap.

Background: Libraries provide access to databases with auto-cite features embedded into the services; however, the accuracy of these auto-cite buttons is not very high in humanities and social sciences databases.
Case Presentation: This case compares two biomedical databases, Ovid MEDLINE and PubMed, to see if either is reliable enough to confidently recommend to students for use when writing papers. A total of 60 citations were assessed, 30 citations from each citation generator, based on the top 30 articles in PubMed from 2010 to 2020.

Objective First responders' mandatory reports of mental health episodes requiring emergency hospital care contain rich information about patients and their needs. In Queensland (Australia) much of the information contained in Emergency Examination Authorities (EEAs) remains unused. We propose and demonstrate a methodology to extract and translate vital information embedded in reports like EEAs and to use it to investigate the extreme propensity of incidence of serious mental health episodes.

Background: Medical students must develop self-directed information-seeking skills while they are learning vast amounts of foundational and clinical skills. Students will use different resources for different phases of their training. Information literacy training provided to students will be more impactful when it is embedded into courses or assignments that mimic real-world scenarios.
