Knowledge about the stability of fiber posts cemented in widened canal spaces over time is scarce in the literature. Thus, the purpose of this case report was to evaluate the performance of a direct anatomical post in a widened canal space over the course of four years. The present clinical case describes the rehabilitation of a widened canal space using a direct anatomical post (a resin composite combined with a prefabricated glass fiber post) associated with an all-ceramic crown and other restorative procedures. This technique is easy to perform and may solve some of the problems associated with the cementation of a poorly adapted fiber post in a widened canal space.

Renal tubular acidosis (RTA) is a group of disorders in which there is an alteration in acid-base homeostasis because of the impairment of nephrons to excrete hydrogen ions or reabsorb bicarbonate ions, resulting in chronic metabolic acidosis. RTA is an important cause of rickets, particularly 'resistant rickets'. Dental manifestations frequently reported in patients with RTA include enamel hypoplasia and amelogenesis imperfecta, affecting permanent dentition.

Objective: Size at birth is a key indicator of in utero growth. Our objective was to generate sex-specific percentiles for birth weight and head circumference in neonates born between 22 and 29 weeks gestation from pregnancies without hypertension or diabetes and assess differences between vaginal and caesarean births and between singletons and twins.
Methods: We used data from 12 countries participating in the International Network for Evaluating Outcomes in Neonates database from 2007 to 2021.

Abnormal widening of the mandibular canal (MC) is rarely observed on radiography. Nonetheless, as most of the current research on abnormal mandibular widening is limited to case reports and MCs have relatively deep and hidden positions, there are challenges in diagnosing and formulating treatment plans for patients with abnormal MC widening. To provide ideas for the differential diagnosis and treatment choices of the characteristic clinical sign, this study included patients with abnormal widening of the MC between July 2014 and October 2023.
