Morphologically, 4 eyes of patients after intraocular lens implantation as well as their case histories have been studied. The eyes were taken at pathologoanatomic autopsy of the dead (within 7 days--3.5 years after surgery). The following possible causes of postoperative complications are revealed: formation of adhesions, secondary cataract, changes in the anterior chamber, angle, a sluggish course of uveoretinitis, this leading to a fall of visual acuity.
