Neurofibromas are slow-growing, painless, benign nerve-sheath tumors. They occur most commonly in the dermis and subcutis and are rarely found in the breast. We report a rare case of a solitary neurofibroma of the breast in a 61-year-old asymptomatic woman.

Background: This study aimed to assess the interobserver variability of semi-automatic diameter and volumetric measurements versus manual diameter measurements for small lung nodules identified on computed tomography scans.
Methods: The radiological patient database was searched for CT thorax examinations with at least one noncalcified solid nodule (∼3-10 mm). Three radiologists with four to six years of experience evaluated each nodule in accordance with the Fleischner Society guidelines using standard diameter measurements, semi-automatic lesion diameter measurements, and volumetric assessments.

Objective: Image-guided diagnosis and treatment of lung lesions is an active area of research. With the growing number of solutions proposed, there is also a growing need to establish a standard for the evaluation of these solutions. Thus, realistic phantom and preclinical environments must be established.

Spindle cell lipoma (SCL) is a benign adipocytic tumor usually found in the subcutis of the posterior neck, upper back, and shoulder, predominantly in middle-aged males. This case report describes an atypical presentation of SCL in a 26-year-old male with a history of malignant melanoma. The patient presented with an erythematous plaque with central hyperpigmentation on the right upper arm, an uncommon location and presentation for SCL.

Juxtaglomerular cell tumor (JxGCT) is a rare type of renal neoplasm demonstrating morphologic overlap with some mesenchymal tumors such as glomus tumor (GT) and solitary fibrous tumor (SFT). Its oncogenic drivers remain elusive, and only a few cases have been analyzed with modern molecular techniques. In prior studies, loss of chromosomes 9 and 11 appeared to be recurrent.

BACKGROUND Solitary thyroid nodules present a challenge in differentiating between benign and malignant conditions using ultrasound (US). Arrival time parameter imaging (At-PI) following contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) can effectively visualize the vascular architectural patterns of the nodules, providing valuable diagnostic information. This study aimed to explore the application value of At-PI in differentiating thyroid nodules, specifically focusing on a sample of 127 cases.
