Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a very aggressive and deadly form of breast cancer for which chemotherapy is the only systemic treatment option. Therefore, novel and more effective targeted or combined therapies, such as specific drug delivery systems that selectively target cancer cells, have received much attention. This research aimed to investigate the effect of targeted delivery of chrysin (CH) and 5-fluorouracil (5FU) using polymer nanoparticles on MDA-MB-231 cells.

Background This study aimed to evaluate the relationship among human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expression level, pathological complete response (pCR) rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and prognosis in early-stage triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Methodology This retrospective study analyzed the relationship among HER2 expression level, pCR rate, clinicopathological factors, and prognosis in 39 patients who were diagnosed with TNBC between 2012 and 2020 at Osaka Rosai Hospital and underwent surgery after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Results Patients' age ranged 33-86 (median = 57) years, and the observation period ranged 5-130 (median = 60) months.

Background: Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a deadly subtype of breast cancer with limited treatment options. Currently, programmed death 1 (PD-1)/programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitors have become the first choice for breast cancer immunotherapies. Despite paclitaxel being considered a cornerstone drug in breast cancer treatment, the effectiveness, safety, and optimal drug selection for its combination with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors remain uncertain.

Objective(s): Some forms of breast cancer such as triple-negative phenotype, are serious challenge because of high metastatic cases, high mortality and resistance to conventional therapy motivated the search for alternative treatment approaches. Nanomaterials are promising candidates and suitable alternatives for improving tumor and cancer cell treatments.
Materials And Methods: Biosynthesis of ZnO NPs by help of Berberis integerrima fruit extract, has been done.
