Wheelchair propulsion is a fundamental skill in wheelchair sports, particularly in wheelchair tennis. To achieve optimal mobility during wheelchair athletic performance, it is essential to consider propulsion techniques. This study examines the effect of push frequency and stroke duration on wheelchair maneuverability, measured by velocity during propulsion, among wheelchair tennis athletes.

Time-of-flight (TOF) based underwater imaging is of great importance in practical applications due to its high image quality. Existing works separate scattered and ballistic photons in the time and space domains to recover objects in weakly scattered underwater scenes. However, in turbid underwater environments, absorption and strong anisotropic scattering cause weak ballistic light tightly coupled with forward-scattered and backward-scattered photons.

Domestic and global access to surgical care for paediatric hand and upper limb conditions is challenged by limited resources, increasing direct and indirect costs of care and a growing number of patients who require specialty care. There are numerous barriers for patients from developing countries to receiving medical care in Japan due to the substantial costs, which include travel, uninsured medical expenses and fees imposed by intermediaries. To address this issue, I realised that I needed to take a more direct approach - by travelling to these countries, not only to provide treatment, but also to teach and train local doctors.
