The discovery of novel, selective inhibitors targeting CDK2 and PIM1 kinases, which regulate cell survival, proliferation, and treatment resistance, is crucial for advancing cancer therapy. This study reports the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of three novel pyrazolo[3,4-]pyridine derivatives (), confirmed spectral analyses. These compounds were assessed for anti-cancer activity against breast, colon, liver, and cervical cancers using the MTT assay.

Continuous treatment with ibrutinib not only exerts tumor control but also enhances T cell function in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). We conducted longitudinal multi-omics analyses in samples from CLL patients receiving ibrutinib upfront to identify potential adaptive mechanisms to Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibition during the first 12 months of continuous therapy. We found that ibrutinib induced a decrease in the expression of exhaustion markers and the proportion of Tregs and Tfh cells normalized to levels observed in healthy donors.

In this study, the first attempt is made to implement conjugated polymer-based self-assembled monolayer (SAM), poly[3-(6-carboxyhexyl) thiophene-2,5-diyl] (P3HT-COOH), is implemented as the hole transport layer (HTL) in fabricatiing organic photovoltaics (OPVs). The scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) results show that those P3HT-COOH molecules with periodic carboxylic acid anchoring groups pack periodically on the indium tin oxide (ITO) surface and form a monolayer. Further, this monolayer is smooth and dense with a polar feature that minimizes defects, forms an excellent interface with the photoactive layer, and tunes the work function of ITO beneficial for hole extraction.

Background: () is a widely prevalent intracellular parasite that infects almost all warm-blooded animals and causes serious public health problems. The drugs currently used to treat toxoplasmosis have the disadvantage of being toxic and prone to the development of resistance, and the only licensed vaccine entails a risk of virulence restoration. The development of a safe and effective vaccine against is urgently needed.

To address the critical corrosion challenges faced by metal pipelines in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies, the study prepared a series of novel Fe-5Cr-(0-3)Al alloy steels. The corrosion resistance of these alloys in a water-saturated supercritical CO (sc-CO) environment was systematically investigated. The results revealed that increasing Al content significantly reduced the corrosion rate.
