Pregnancy-associated breast cancer (PABC) presents unique challenges. This type of breast cancer is often more aggressive than that diagnosed in nonpregnant women, and its diagnosis is frequently delayed. Several factors contribute to this delay, including the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, such as breast enlargement, breast tenderness and increased tissue density, which can mask early signs of malignancy.

Background: Many reports described the importance of multidisciplinary meetings in providing oncologic patients with the best treatment strategies. This item improved overall survival, accuracy of staging and adherence to guidelines. For mediastinal neoplasms, collaboration between different surgical skills allows to deal with challenging/impossible surgical procedures.

There are still several viral infections affecting a considerable number of the world's population, causing thousands of deaths each year. There are no drugs available for most viral infections and for many not even a vaccine. The marine kingdom is characterized by a huge chemical diversity; however, there is currently on the market only one drug derived from the sea with antiviral properties, called Ara-A.

Considering that fungi display a great morphological, ecological, metabolic, and phylogenetic diversity, their taxonomic identification is extremely important because it helps us establish important information about each species and its possible biochemical and ecological roles. Traditionally, the identification of fungi at the species level has been carried out with molecular tools such as DNA sequencing, but it still represents a huge challenge today due to the heterogeneity of the fungal kingdom, making the task of identification a complex and difficult process. Biotyping, a type of chemotaxonomy, has been developed in the field of the identification/differentiation and classification of micro-fungi through tools such as mass spectrometry (MS).

Background: Plant diseases cause huge losses in agriculture worldwide every year, but the prolonged use of current commercial fungicides has led to the development of resistance in plant pathogenic fungi. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop new, efficient, and green fungicides.
Results: Twenty-three nootkatone-based thiazole-hydrazone compounds were designed, synthesized, and characterized by Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), proton (H) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), carbon-13 (C) NMR, and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).
