The switching riddle of AgTCNQ is shown to be caused by the solid electrolyte mechanism. Both factors of bulk phase change and contact issue play key roles in the efficient work of the devices. An effective strategy is developed to locate the formation/disruption of Ag conductive filaments using the planar asymmetric configuration of Au/AgTCNQ/AlOx /Al. These novel electrochemical metallization memories demonstrate many promising properties.

Robust Virtual Sensing of the Vehicle Sideslip Angle through the Cross-Combination of Multiple Filters Using a Decision Tree Algorithm.

Sensors (Basel)

June 2023

Autonomous Systems and Robotics Lab/U2IS, ENSTA Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, 91120 Palaiseau, France.

This paper presents a state-of-the-art estimation technique by cross-combining a number n of filters for high-precision, reliable and robust vehicle sideslip angle state estimation, over a full range of vehicle operations irrespective of the driving mission and disruptions that may occur in the system. A machine-learning algorithm based on decision trees connects several filters together to switch between them according to the driving context, ensuring the best possible state estimate for relatively small and large sideslip angle values. In conjunction with the above-mentioned aspects, a seamless transition between different vehicle models is attained by observing the key parameters characterizing the lateral motion of the vehicle.

The objective of this study was to identify interpretation challenges specific to exome sequencing and errors of potential clinical significance in the context of genetic counseling for adults at risk for a hereditary cancer syndrome. Thirty transcripts of interpreter-mediated telephone results disclosure genetic counseling appointments were coded for errors by bilingual researchers, and the coders applied an overall rating to denote the degree to which the errors interfered with communication overall. Genetic counselors reviewed a subset of errors flagged for potential clinical significance to identify those likely to have clinical impact.

Background: Serum levels of neurofilament light chain (sNfL) are a potentially useful biomarker for assessing the efficacy of multiple sclerosis (MS) treatments.

Objective: To compare levels of sNfL in patients with MS who switched from natalizumab every 4 weeks (Q4W) to extended interval dosing (EID) and patients who remained on Q4W dosing in real-world clinical practice.

Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of samples from patients treated with natalizumab from 2010 to 2015 at a single center in the United States.

The photoperiodic system is concealed in the highly complex black-box, comprising four functional subunits: 1) a photo/thermo-sensitive input unit, 2) a photoperiodic clock based on a circadian system, 3) a condenser unit counting the number of inductive signals, and 4) a neuroendocrine switch that triggers a phenotypic shift. This review aims to summarize the research history and current reach of our understanding on this subject to connect it with the molecular mechanism of the circadian clock rapidly being unveiled. The review also focuses on the mode of intersubunit information transduction.

It has been proposed that elevated trait anxiety is associated with deficits in cognitive flexibility, which is required to enable people to switch between different ways of classifying information. Recent research has focused on a particular facet of cognitive flexibility that may be specifically impaired in high trait anxious individuals. This concerns the ability to recode stimulus information that has initially been categorized in terms of 1 stimulus dimension, in terms of an alternative dimension.
