Background: Aortoiliac disease (AID) is a variant of peripheral artery disease involving the infrarenal aorta and iliac arteries. Similar to other arterial diseases, aortoiliac disease obstructs blood flow through narrowed lumens or by embolization of plaques. AID, when symptomatic, may present with a triad of claudication, impotence, and absence of femoral pulses, a triad also referred as Leriche Syndrome (LS).

Introduction: China implemented a dynamic zero-COVID strategy to curb viral transmission in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Myofibroblastoma is a rare mesenchymal tumour known for its benign nature but complex diagnostic pathway. A woman in her 40s presented with a painless breast mass, initially reported as a fibroadenoma on ultrasound mammography and as a benign to borderline phyllodes tumour on fine needle aspiration cytology. Atherosclerosis and aortic aneurysms are prevalent cardiovascular diseases in the elderly, characterized by chronic inflammation and oxidative stress. This study explores the role of CircXYLT1 in regulating oxidative stress and vascular remodeling in age-related vascular diseases. RNA sequencing revealed a significant upregulation of CircXYLT1 in the vascular tissues of aged mice, highlighting its potential role in age-related vascular diseases.
