The use of boron minerals as an additive is important in terms of reducing CO emissions and providing input to the economy. Sustainable natural colemanite was subjected to calcination at 550 °C in order to concentrate the amount of BO. For the characterization of calcined mineral, XRD, TGA/DTA, and BO component tests were carried out.

Ecosystem restoration can contribute to climate change mitigation, as recovering ecosystems sequester atmospheric CO in biomass and soils. It is, however, unclear how much soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks recover across different restored ecosystems. Here, we show SOC recovery in different contexts globally by consolidating 41 meta-analyses into a second-order meta-analysis.

Interfacial tension () between CO and brine depends on chemical components in multiphase systems, intricately evolving with a change in temperature. In this study, we developed a convolutional neural network with a multibranch structure (MBCNN), which, in combination with a compiled data set containing measurement data of 1716 samples from 13 available literature sources at wide temperature and pressure ranges (273.15-473.

Changes in winter precipitation accompanying emerging climate trends lead to a major carbon-climate feedback from Arctic tundra. However, the mechanisms driving the direction, magnitude, and form (CO and CH) of C fluxes and derived climate forcing (i.e.

Background: Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a common cosmetic concern, often leading to significant psychological distress for the patients. With the widespread application of lasers including ablative fractional resurfacing (AFR) with a 10,600 nm CO laser, PIH caused by lasers is becoming increasingly common. But due to the absence of an appropriate animal research model, our understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms and preventive strategies for PIH remains limited.
