Dynamics of interphase peripheral blood lymphocyte death is studied in terms of a general model based on a random damage distribution among cells and stochastic time of their death. Some particular cases of this model are analysed. Possible causes of shaping "biphase" dose-dependence curves for lymphoid cell survival after irradiation are discussed.

This paper explores the electrical conductivity interphase of Ag/Epoxy composite using modified McLachlan theory and 3D finite element composite model through experimental verification. The model characteristic presents conductivity as a dynamic function influenced by particle content, particle electrical properties, electrical properties transition, and an exponent. This model was meticulously crafted, considering the intricate interplay between the polymer matrix and silver particles, the tunnelling distance between adjacent silver particles, and the interphase regions around particles.

ConspectusLithium-ion batteries (LIBs) based on graphite anodes are a widely used state-of-the-art battery technology, but their energy density is approaching theoretical limits, prompting interest in lithium-metal batteries (LMBs) that can achieve higher energy density. In addition, the limited availability of lithium reserves raises supply concerns; therefore, research on postlithium metal batteries is underway. A major issue with these metal anodes, including lithium, is dendritic formation and insufficient reversibility, which leads to safety risks due to short circuits and the use of flammable electrolytes.

Carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRPs) with epoxy matrices are widely applied in high-performance structural applications and represent one of the biggest classes of materials with urgent need for end-of-life management. Available waste management methodologies for conventional thermoset composites with a focus on CFRPs are briefly reviewed and their limitations are highlighted. In the quest to obtain materials with mechanical performance, thermal stability, and sustainability, the research community has turned its interest to develop polymer composites with adaptable and dynamic networks in their matrix, and lately also at an interface/interphase level.

Eutectic-based polymer electrolytes have emerged as promising solid electrolytes because of their ionic liquid-like properties, while modifications are essential to further increase their ionic conductivity at room temperature and solve their compatibility with lithium anode. In this work, an in situ polymerized composite electrolyte is modified by the addition of fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) whose beneficial effect is systematically investigated in different contents. Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA), deep eutectic solvent (LiTFSI:-methylacetamide = 1:3), and alumina fiber work as the monomer, solvent, and three-dimensional skeleton, respectively.

Achieving high ionic conductivity and stable performance at low temperatures remains a significant challenge in sodium-metal batteries (SMBs). In this study, we propose a novel electrolyte design strategy that elucidates the solvation structure-function relationship within mixed solvent systems. A mixture of diglyme and 1,3-dioxolane was developed to optimize the solvation structure towards superior low-temperature electrolyte.
