Ossification of the ligamentum flavum (OLF) can lead to dural ossification, significantly increasing the risk of complications, including intraoperative nerve injury. The application of augmented reality (AR) and advanced digital technologies in spine surgery has the potential to reduce these risks. This case report highlights a perioperative nerve injury-free microsurgery using elastic image fusion technology, which integrates preoperative imaging with intraoperative computed tomography for a patient with severe stenotic OLF and dural ossification.

Background/objectives: An on-board imager on a linear accelerator allows the acquisition of kV-2D images during irradiation. Overlaying specific structures on these images enables the visual verification of movement at regular frequencies. Objective: To apply a network medicine-based approach to analyze the phenome of the prenatal fetal MRI and biometric findings in the Chiari II malformation (CM II) to detect specific patterns and co-occurrences.
Method: A single-center retrospective review of fetal MRI scans obtained in fetuses with CM II was performed. Co-occurrence analysis was utilized to generate a phenotypic comorbidity matrix and visualized by Gephi software.

Introduction: Automatic segmentation of the left atrium (LA) constitutes a crucial pre-processing step in evaluating heart structure and function during clinical interventions, such as image-guided radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation. Despite prior research on LA segmentation, the low contrast in medical images exacerbates the challenge of distinguishing various tissues, rendering accurate boundary delineation of the target area formidable. Moreover, class imbalance due to the small target size further complicates segmentation.
