Background: Microaggressions are pervasive in clinical and academic environments, often unnoticed by those unaware of the privileges and power dynamics tied to socially constructed hierarchies. These subtle manifestations of bias and prejudice are typically directed toward historically marginalized individuals and groups (HMIGs), contributing to a toxic culture that undermines interprofessional communication, collaboration, and healthcare delivery.
Purpose: This article aims to explore the concept of microaggressions and their impact on healthcare environments.

Objective: Hearing loss (HL) is associated with depression, but existing datasets are limited by the type of data available for both hearing and mental health conditions. The purpose of this study is to determine if there is an association between HL and depressive disorders within a large bi-institutional electronic health record (EHR) system containing more granular diagnostic information.

Objective: To explore recently/currently pregnant people's experiences and views about cannabis use during pregnancy and their associated support for policies that punish pregnant people who use cannabis.
Methods: A market research firm administered a survey (May-June 2022) to pregnant and recently pregnant people ages 18-49 regarding their attitudes about cannabis use policies and practices. We used multivariable regression to assess whether cannabis use and beliefs are associated with support for punishing people who use cannabis.
