Objective: To evaluate the effect of arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive management of bunion and hallux valgus deformities.
Methods: Total 50 patients (53 feet) with bunion and hallux valgus deformities were treated under arthroscopy from July 2008 to July 2011, with an average age of 42.3 years old (ranging from 30 to 65 years old) involving 19 left feet, 28 right feet and 3 both feet. The American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) hallux metatarsophalangeal-interphalangeal(MP-IP) Scale Score was used to evaluate the therapeutic effect.
Results: There were no complications such as hallux varus, hallux rigid and nerve or blood vessel injury. Clinically, AOFAS MP-IP Scale Score was increased from 62.19 ± 6.01 preoperatively to 88.26 ± 6.81 postoperatively.
Conclusion: Arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive management appears to be a good procedure with advantages of less complication, little trauma and early rehabilitation for bunion and hallux valugs deformities.

Although specific techniques vary, core decompression is generally accepted as the treatment of choice for precollapse avascular necrosis (AVN) of the hip to delay or prevent progression of the disease. This can be combined with hip arthroscopy to allow visual assessment of the femoral head as well as treatment of intra-articular pathologies, which may contribute to pain and joint degeneration. We describe a technique of hip arthroscopy and concurrent core decompression using an expandable reamer and bone grafting for treatment of hip AVN.

Background: The surgical treatment and management of postoperative soft tissue complications in diabetic patients with displaced calcaneal fractures are still controversial. We aimed to evaluate the short-term efficacy of percutaneous minimally invasive screw fixation in treatment of diabetic patients with Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures under subtalar arthroscopy assisted by preoperative musculoskeletal ultrasonic locating lateral calcaneal branch (LCB) of the sural nerve and calcaneal-talar joint distraction device.
Methods: The clinical data of 52 diabetic patients diagnosed with Sanders II or III calcaneal fractures from March 2016 to August 2020 were followed up and analyzed.

Background: Arthroscopy-assisted closed reduction and percutaneous internal fixation is a minimally invasive technique for medial malleolus fracture treatment. The purpose of the study was to assess the quality and functional outcomes of this technique.
Methods: Seventy-eight patients with combined medial malleolus fractures were treated with arthroscopy-assisted closed reduction and percutaneous screw fixation technique.

Methods: This study enrolled 84 patients with TPFs admitted to the researchers' hospital between March 2021 and May 2022 as the study subjects, including 42 patients treated with open reduction and internal fixation (observation group) and 42 patients treated with arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive surgery (experimental group). Then, perioperative indexes, knee symptom scores, knee function scores, knee ROM, and postoperative complications were compared between these two groups.
