Zidovudine is an important component of first-line antiretroviral treatment regimens used to manage HIV and tuberculosis (TB) co-infection. Nail pigmentation is documented both in adult as well as pediatric HIV patients, but to the best of our knowledge, it has not been reported in 45-year-old women of HIV/TB co-infection. Such an adverse drugs reactions (ADR), although is harmless and reversible, psychological aspects of such ADR may be immense to the extent that it can negatively affect the compliance and result in therapeutic failure. Thus, it is worth reporting.

Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder primarily affecting exocrine glands, leading to symptoms such as dry mouth and dry eyes. While SS can occur as a primary condition, it may overlap with other autoimmune diseases, complicating management. Background: Anal and perineum pain caused by malignant tumor invasion is often difficult to control with opioids. Continuous sacral epidural ethanol injection therapy is less likely to cause bladder and rectal disturbances, making it a suitable treatment option for patients with preserved voiding function.
Case Presentation: A 45-year-old woman with multiple metastases of malignant pheochromocytoma suffered severe anal pain that worsened, especially when sitting, and was unresponsive to opioid rescue therapy.
