It has been more than 40 years since the beginning of exploring the genetic composition of ancient organisms from the perspective of ancient DNA. In the recent 20 years, with the development and application of high-throughput sequencing technology platforms and the improved efficiency of retrieving highly fragmented DNA molecules, ancient DNA research moved forward to a brand-new era of deep-time paleogenomics. It not only solved many controversial phylogenetic problems, enriched the migration and evolution details of various organisms including humans, but also launched exploration of the molecular responses to climate changes in terms of "whole genomic-big data-multi-species" level.

Research into the mechanisms by which gravity influences spermatozoa has implications for maintaining the species in deep space exploration and may provide new approaches to reproductive technologies on Earth. Changes in the speed of mouse spermatozoa after 30 min exposure to simulated weightlessness (by 3D-clinostat) and 2 g hypergravity (by centrifugation) were studied using inhibitory analysis. Simulated microgravity after 30 min led to an increase in the speed of spermatozoa and against the background of an increase in the relative calcium content in the cytoplasm.

The traditional maneuver decision-making approaches are highly dependent on accurate and complete situation information, and their decision-making quality becomes poor when opponent information is occasionally missing in complex electromagnetic environments. In order to solve this problem, an autonomous maneuver decision-making approach is developed based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) architecture. Meanwhile, a Transformer network is integrated into the actor and critic networks, which can find the potential dependency relationships among the time series trajectory data.

Elucidating the subcellular localization of RNAs and proteins is fundamental to understanding their biological functions. Genetically encoded proteins/enzymes provide an attractive approach to target many proteins of interest, but are limited to specific cell lines. Although small-molecule-based methods have been explored, a comprehensive system for profiling multiple locations in living cells, comparable to fusion-protein techniques, is yet to be established.

Toward the end of 2022, the cessation of China's "dynamic zero-COVID policy" had led to a notable outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 infections and a substantial number of severe cases and deaths were reported, which raised serious concerns. Concurrently, our study identified a significant increase in the incidence of indeterminate results from the Interferon-γ Release Assay (IGRA) among hospitalized patients during this period. Peripheral T cells from these individuals were unable to produce measurable levels of IFN-γ upon stimulation with the PHA mitogen.
