Introduction: Pneumonia is a common symptom of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), and this study aimed to determine how analyzing initial thoracic computerized-tomography (CT) scans using semi-quantitative methods could be used to predict the outcomes for hospitalized patients.
Materials And Methods: This study looked at previously collected data from adult patients who were hospitalized with a positive test for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 and had CT scans of their thorax at the time of presentation. The CT scans were evaluated for the extent of lung involvement using a semi-quantitative scoring system ranging from 0 to 72.

Background And Study Aims: Monitoring the symptoms of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) patients is now frequently made in the form of patient reported outcomes (PRO), rather than historical clinical activity scores. Unlike several chronic diseases, the role of telemonitoring in IBD has not yet been defined, particularly in terms of patient compliance with remote monitoring; the aim of our study was to assess patient compliance with digital monitoring of PRO as part of routine medical follow-up.

Introduction: Circadian Locomotor Output Cycles Kaput (CLOCK) is one of the transcription factors from the positive end of the molecular clock and regulates biological rhythm in mammals. Studies have shown that genetic variations in the CLOCK genes are associated with chronotype, sleep patterns, obesity, dietary energy, and nutrient consumption.
