Introduction And Importance: Cervical paragangliomas of the vagus nerve are tumors, of wich the nature and location make them extremely rare, representing only 0.012 % of cervical tumors.
Case Presentation: This article reports the case of a 64 year old patient, consulting for a latero-cervical mass associated with dysphonia, dysphagia, and repeated vagal syncopes, evolving for 10 months.

The Zika virus (ZIKV) has been associated with several complications, including acute transverse myelitis (ATM), an acute inflammation of the spinal cord, with rapid development of motor, sensory and dysautonomic symptoms. It is a rare disease, and its clinical features, as well as differences in relation to idiopathic ATMs, are still not completely known. The objective of this paper is to review the literature in search of clinical features and complementary exams of ATM post-ZIKV infection, alone or in association with other neurological conditions (mixed diseases), as well as its treatments and prognoses.

Background: Malignant vasovagal syncope (VVS) is a unique form of cardioinhibitory VVS, characterized by prolonged asystole. To deepen the understanding of this distinct type of VVS in children, this article reviews advancements in the potential pathogenesis, diagnostic approaches, clinical significance, and treatment controversies of malignant VVS in pediatric patients.
Data Sources: This article was developed by reviewing the literature and studies in databases including PubMed and Chinese Journal Full-text Database up to September 2024.

Background: First-time documentation of rare diseases is normally in the form of case reports. These are typically based on unexpected observations by vigilant clinicians and lead to further research on prevalence and aetiology. One of the best-known Norwegian examples is Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome.

Objective: This review aims to identify the exercise rehabilitation approaches used for patients with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome).
Methods: An electronic literature search was conducted using the PubMed database, covering January 2005 to October 2023. Studies were included if they reported an exercise rehabilitation intervention for POTS patients and resulting clinical outcomes.
