A 65-year-old man had undergone the surgical treatment for intracranial hemangiopericytoma(HPC) in 2011. In June 2013, the X-ray abnormality in health examination was pointed out. Chest Computed tomography shows a 30 mm-sized tumor lesion with bone destruction in the 6th left rib bone. Fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography revealed no lesion except for the tumor. Surgical resection of the rib tumor was performed in July 2013. Pathologically it was diagnosed as bone metastasis of HPC. The postoperative course was uneventful, but multiple bone metastases were found 6 months after surgery.

Angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma (AFH) is a rare soft tissue tumor with intermediate malignant potential, and it rarely metastasizes. We encountered a unique AFH case where, the tumor was discovered initially in unusual locations-the left lung and the left 4th rib. Combined histological features with FISH and NGS analysis, the diagnosis of AFH was supported, however, it is difficult to determine which of these two is the primary lesion.

The complexity of this case lies in its atypical presentation and the challenges posed in diagnosis and treatment. A 30-year-old gentleman presented to the general surgery clinic with a chief complaint of swelling on the right side of his chest, persisting for two months following a traumatic fall, which later resulted in hemothorax and prothorax required drainage and eventually ended up developing a swelling requiring further investigations.

Objective: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET/CT has shown considerable promise in the evaluation of prostate cancer bone metastases; however, data utilizing a histopathologic reference standard in this setting are limited. We therefore sought to evaluate the diagnostic performance of PSMA-PET/CT using a consistent histopathologic gold standard in the form of bone biopsy.
Materials And Methods: In this single-center, retrospective study, we identified 80 patients with prostate cancer who underwent CT-guided bone biopsy of a tracer-avid osseous lesion on PSMA-PET/CT performed with F-piflufolastat.
