The conveyor system plays a vital role in improving the performance of flexible manufacturing cells (FMCs). The conveyor selection problem involves the evaluation of a set of potential alternatives based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. This paper presents an integrated multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) model of a fuzzy AHP (analytic hierarchy process) and fuzzy ARAS (additive ratio assessment) for conveyor evaluation and selection. In this model, linguistic terms represented as triangular fuzzy numbers are used to quantify experts' uncertain assessments of alternatives with respect to the criteria. The fuzzy set is then integrated into the AHP to determine the weights of the criteria. Finally, a fuzzy ARAS is used to calculate the weights of the alternatives. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model, a case study is performed of a practical example, and the results obtained demonstrate practical potential for the implementation of FMCs.

Digital transformation (DT) has become vital for companies trying to remain competitive in the recent ever-changing technological environment. DT is the integration of digital technologies into all disciplines of business from regular activities to strategic decision making. Risk management planning requires projects to assess possible risks that may negatively or positively affect a DT project.

The concept of T-spherical fuzzy sets (T-SFSs) provides a robust optimization approach to deal with uncertainties in environmental concerns. The main objective of this paper is to introduce a hybrid approach for the power system reforms and advances of low-carbon technology to address environmental concerns as well as transition towards a more sustainable energy infrastructure. To meet these objectives, various aggregation operators (AOs) are developed named as T-spherical fuzzy Dubois-Prade (T-SFDP), T-spherical fuzzy interactive Dubois-Prade weighted average (T-SFIDPWA), T-spherical fuzzy interactive Dubois-Prade ordered weighted average (T-SFIDPOWA), T-spherical fuzzy interactive Dubois-Prade weighted geometric (T-SFIDPWG), and T-spherical fuzzy interactive Dubois-Prade ordered weighted geometric (T-SFIDPOWG).

The identification and evaluation of barriers to artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in food supply chain finance (FSCF) can be addressed as a multiattribute decision-making problem. However, only a few studies have reported the application of decision models for evaluating barriers to the implementation of AI in FSCF, especially within an uncertain context. Hence, this work explores the evaluation issue of implementation barriers via an integrated decision model.

Hospitals need to identify issues of greater importance on waste management because the implementation of many different strategies may lead to an unconscious increase in costs. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to define the most effective waste management strategies in the service industry. For this purpose, a novel fuzzy decision-making model is proposed that has two different stages.

Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, Institute of Digital Anti-aging Healthcare, Inje University 197 Inje-ro, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do 50834, Republic of Korea. Electronic address:

Objectives: Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious illness caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The initial symptoms of TB are similar to other respiratory illnesses, posing diagnostic challenges. Therefore, the primary goal of this study is to design a novel decision-support system under a bipolar intuitionistic fuzzy environment to examine an effective TB diagnosing method.
