Occlusal corrections are dependent on a precise registration. The T-Scan system has recently been presented to the market as an innovative, computer-aided device, capable of providing exact information regarding position, strength and frequency of occlusal contacts. The diagnostic validity of this technique was tested in a comparing study on 16 patients. The occlusal situation of these patients was analyzed by use of the T-Scan system and the markings compared with those obtained from UV-sensitive articulation foil. The results show that the diagnostic possibilities of the T-Scan system are very much limited. The use oft he T-Scan system as the only means of occlusal analysis cannot be recommended. The main reason for this is an often misleading reproduction of occlusal contacts, caused by the T-Scan-sensor-foil being too thick and too inflexible and therefore creating an uncontrollable shift of the mandibula when closing the bite. However, the T-Scan system seems to be a valuable tool for education of both students and patients, as the on-screen coulour display of occlusal mechanisms are really impressive.

Objective: To compare bite force distributions in corresponding mouth regions between postorthodontic patients who underwent nonextraction and extraction approaches using the T-Scan III system (Tekscan, Inc, Massachusetts, United States).
Materials And Methods: Thirty-six postorthodontic patients were divided into two groups: (1) 18 subjects with the nonextraction treatment and (2) 18 subjects with the extraction of four first-premolar treatments. The measurements were performed using the T-Scan to collect the occlusal bite force at the maximal intercuspal position to generate the bite force in the anterior region (incisors and canines) and posterior region (premolars and molars), the bite force in individual teeth, and the anteroposterior bite force ratio (A-P ratio).

Background: This case report highlights the importance of standardized and fully digital sequential treatment in complex occlusal rehabilitation cases. To fully resolve the patient's dental needs, such cases often require multidisciplinary interventions including periodontal therapy, endodontic treatment, anterior esthetics, implant restoration, and prosthetic rehabilitation. A fully digital workflow (including facial scanners, intraoral scanners, jaw motion tracking systems, virtual articulators, and computer-aided design software) streamlined the complex treatment, enhancing workflow simplicity, efficiency, visibility, and precision.

Introduction: Dental occlusion refers to the static and dynamic relationships that are established between the teeth of the two arches and is an important factor in the homeostasis of the dento-maxillary system. The objective of the present study was to compare two digital occlusal analysis systems: the T-Scan III system and the Medit I600 intraoral scanner.
Materials And Methods: The study was carried out on 20 students from the Faculty of Dental Medicine Craiova, whose dental occlusion was assessed with the T-Scan III system and with the Medit I600 intraoral scanner.
