Purpose: The assessment of knowledge gain from educational interventions is a common practice in dementia care research. This study aimed to refine and validate the Changing Talk Scale (CHATS), a tool for assessing knowledge of effective and person-centered communication in nursing home staff. Burn injuries often cause prolonged oxidative stress and inflammatory pain due to an initial increase in inflammatory responses, consequently exacerbating depressive disorders and severely impairing patients' quality of life. The primary function of traditional burn dressings is to prevent infection and facilitate tissue repair. However, these dressings are not intended for the inflammatory pain and depression that often occur during recovery.

With the global prevalence of the hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD) epidemic, the development of reliable point-of-care testing (POCT) is crucial for the timely identification and prevention of outbreaks. Isothermal nucleic acid amplification techniques (INAATs) have attracted much attention because of their high efficiency for rapid diagnosis. In this work, we systematically summarize the current status of INAATs for HFMD and discuss advantages and drawbacks of various INAATs for HFMD.
