Objective: To describe the prevalence, clinical findings, lesions, and risk factors associated with chlamydial infections in free-ranging raptors presented to a university veterinary medical teaching hospital.
Methods: Medical records retrospectively searched for raptors admitted from January 1993 through April 2022 were tested for Chlamydia spp infections using quantitative PCR (qPCR), immunohistochemistry, culture, and sequencing. Findings were collected and analyzed.

: Chronic low-grade inflammation occurs in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and there are many contributing factors. In this study, we aimed to investigate and infections in patients with PCOS and to evaluate the association between these microorganisms and the inflammatory process in the etiology of the disease. : This comparative cross-sectional clinical study was conducted at Balıkesir University Hospital and included 40 female patients diagnosed with PCOS in the gynecology outpatients clinic and 40 healthy female controls.

Some women infected with (CT) are asymptomatic, while others experience lower abdominal discomfort when the inflammatory process extends to the fallopian tubes. Without treatment, salpingitis can progress to pelvic peritonitis and subsequently, peritonitis in the upper abdomen, a condition known as Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome, in some cases. A nucleic acid amplification assay is required for diagnosing CT infection.

Objective: To study the impact of preconception Chlamydia trachomatis seropositivity on fecundability, live birth, and pregnancy loss and to assess the effect of low-dose aspirin therapy (81 mg/day) on live birth and pregnancy loss.
Design: Preconception cohort study conducted using data and specimens from the Effects of Aspirin in Gestation and Reproduction study-a randomized placebo-controlled trial.
Patients: A total of 1,228 individuals with proven fecundity and a history of 1-2 pregnancy losses.
