Diet is the primary source for non-smokers, with potatoes, cereals, and coffee being the main contributors. While animal studies have demonstrated that acrylamide is neurotoxic, genotoxic, mutagenic, and cardiotoxic, its effects on human cardiovascular health remain poorly understood.
