Development of a Digital Case Management Tool for Community Based Inclusive Development Program.

Int J Environ Res Public Health

October 2021

Nossal Institute for Global Health, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne, Melbourne 3010, Australia.

Disability inclusive development practices require reliable data to identify people with disabilities, their barriers to participation and support needs. Although several tools are available for measuring different components of disability, it is often difficult for program teams in low resource settings, including lay community workers of community based inclusive development (CBID) programs, to collect and analyze data for program monitoring and evaluation. This paper presents the development of a digital CBID Modular Tool with automated data analysis to support routine case management processes and monitoring of a CBID program in Laos PDR.

Complex exposure situations are frequent at the workplace, but few studies have characterized multiple occupational carcinogenic exposures (MOCE) and their gendered differences across jobs' characteristics. We assessed MOCE separately in male and female jobs and identified patterns of MOCE at job level. Participants (834 men and 183 women) were cancer patients recruited between March 2002 and December 2010 in the ongoing SCOP93 cohort study, Seine-Saint-Denis department, France.

Chitinosanase: A fungal chitosan hydrolyzing enzyme with a new and unusually specific cleavage pattern.

Institute for Biology and Biotechnology of Plants, University of Muenster, Schlossplatz 8, 48143 Münster, Germany. Electronic address:

The biological activities of partially acetylated chitosan oligosaccharides (paCOS) depend on their degree of polymerization (DP), fraction of acetylation (F), and potentially their pattern of acetylation (P). Therefore, analyzing structure-function relationships require fully defined paCOS, but these are currently unavailable. A promising approach for obtaining at least partially defined paCOS is using chitosanolytic enzymes.

Unlabelled: Partially acetylated chitosan oligosaccharides (paCOS) are potent biologics with many potential applications, and their bioactivities are believed to be dependent on their structure, i.e., their degrees of polymerization and acetylation, as well as their pattern of acetylation.
