Background: Fast recovery after cesarean section is vital since the mother not only has to take care of herself but also the newborn. Recovery scores are useful tools to measure and compare recovery; however, standardized questionnaires may miss in-depth patient experiences. What is important to women in the postoperative period after cesarean section can vary in different populations, making it crucial to understand the specific needs of one's own population.

This dataset was created to investigate the impact of data collection modes and pre-processing techniques on the quality of free comment data related to consumers' sensory perceptions. A total of 200 consumers were recruited and divided into two groups of 100. Each group evaluated six madeleine samples (five distinct samples and one replicate) in a sensory analysis laboratory, using different free comment data collection modes.

By building synthetic regulatory landscapes, Jensen et al. and Thomas et al. demonstrate in this issue of Molecular Cell that gene expression levels strongly depend on the genomic distance between enhancers and promoters and that enhancer cooperation can compensate for reduced enhancer activity over large genomic distances.
