Further, while interventions designed to more explicitly affirm individuals' sexual orientation and behaviors may be more effective, descriptions of behavior variability by orientation are lacking. Smallholder-managed oil palm plantations are a major driver of economic welfare and rural development. However, compared to industrial producers, smallholders are associated with lower farm productivity and disproportionately higher rates of illegal land clearing. Therefore, a balance must be struck between mitigating adverse externalities and strengthening favorable outcomes to ensure smallholders' sustainable integration into the palm oil industry.

Background: Acute abdominal pain (AAP) is a common reason for calling emergency medical services (EMS). Despite the widely acknowledged importance of effective prehospital pain management, described by patients as crucial regardless of any other factor, studies on prehospital pain management in AAP patients are limited and suggest room for improvement.
