We report a case of a 22 year-old drug addict man with overt heart failure and cardiomegaly. The patient had no prior history of tuberculosis and not clinical features to suggest this diagnosis. Tuberculosis myocarditis was found at the necropsy. It is important to point out the frequency of this pathology, the uncommon clinical presentation of this case; as well as the lack of immunologic response to the tuberculous bacillus.

Background: Esophagogastric variceal bleeding is one of the severe complications of decompensated liver cirrhosis, and serial endoscopic therapy can improve the long-term quality of life of patients. Most acute bleeding can be detected under direct endoscopy with thrombus or active bleeding, but there are still some patients with recurrent bleeding after repeated treatments, and it is difficult to find the bleeding site, especially in gastric variceal bleeding.

Introduction: This case study presents a rare and fatal instance of Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) and Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) syndrome in a 51-year-old male patient diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).
Case Presentation: The patient was initially treated with sulfasalazine, leflunomide, and hydroxychloroquine, following which he developed a rash, fever, and loose stools. Drug allergy was suspected, and the antirheumatic medications were withdrawn, following which, the patient improved.
