Statement Of The Problem: Medical emergencies can and do happen in the dental surgery. In the 20- to 30-year practice lifetime of the typical dentist, he/she will encounter between five and seven emergency situations. Being prepared in advance of the emergency increases the likelihood of a successful outcome. PURPOSE OF THE PAPER: To prepare members of the dental office staff to be able to promptly recognize and efficiently manage those medical emergency situations that can occur in the dental office environment.
Materials And Methods: Preparation of the dental office to promptly recognize and efficiently manage medical emergencies is predicated on successful implementation of the following four steps: basic life support for ALL members of the dental office staff; creation of a dental office emergency team; activation of emergency medial services (EMS) when indicated; and basic emergency drugs and equipment. The basic emergency algorithm (P->C->A->B->D) is designed for implementation in all emergency situations.
Results And Conclusions: Prompt implementation of the basic emergency management protocol can significantly increase the likelihood of a successful result when medical emergencies occur in the dental office environment.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to study the therapeutic maintenance of tumour necrosis factor α inhibitors (TNFα-I) for spondyloarthritis patients enrolled in the Moroccan biotherapy registry and to analyse the reason and the predictive factors of stopping TNFα-I.
Methods: Data were collected from a historical-prospective multicentre registry of adult patients with spondyloarthritis, treated with biological treatment, in the 10 rheumatology departments in Morocco. Maintenance was defined as the interval between the introduction and the suspension of the same TNFα-I.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate and compare the fracture resistance of long-span fixed provisional restorations fabricated using milling, three-dimensional (3D) printing, and conventional methods.
Materials And Methods: Sixty specimens were prepared, divided into four groups of 15 each, corresponding to four fabrication methods: computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) milled provisional resins, 3D-printed provisional resins, 3D-printed permanent resins, and conventional bis-acryl restorations reinforced with wire. The specimens underwent a three-point bending test using a universal testing machine to measure fracture resistance, quantified as maximum force (in Newtons).

Among individuals who wear removable dentures, there is a significant likelihood, reaching up to 70 %, of experiencing a condition known as denture-induced stomatitis. To address this issue, a commonly used method involves soaking dentures in denture cleansers to eliminate microorganisms. However, the prolonged use of this cleaning method has resulted in the emergence of drug resistance.
