Herein is introduced a new machine dedicated to the treatment of the metal dentures, ceramics and hard alloys, which allows the patient's treatment in Stomatological Polyclinics. The design of the major parts of the machine--treatment unit and electronic control unit are described. Herein are described in details operation instructions, interlocks information of the unit that allows to extend the life of the motor and of some other electric circuit devices. The advantages of this new machine compared to the alternative Soviet manufactured unit are marked here. Introduction of this machine into production will help to introduce chromium-Cobalt alloys, ceramics and other materials of the heightened hardness into dental prostheses practice.

Background: The severity of furcation involvement (FI) directly affected tooth prognosis and influenced treatment approaches. However, assessing, diagnosing, and treating molars with FI was complicated by anatomical and morphological variations. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) enhanced diagnostic accuracy for detecting FI and measuring furcation defects.

Early diagnosis is critical for providing a timely window for effective therapy in pulmonary fibrosis (PF); however, achieving this remains a significant challenge. The distinct honeycombing patterns observed in computed tomography (CT) for the primary diagnosis of PF are typically only visible in patients with moderate to severe disease, often leading to missed opportunities for early intervention. In this study, we developed a nanoprobe designed to accumulate at fibroblastic foci and loaded with the CT sensitizer iodide to enable effective early diagnosis of PF.

The reduction in alveolar ridge height and width after tooth extraction poses a substantial challenge for dental implant restoration. This study aimed to observe the roles of S100A8 in the inflammatory response and bone resorption following tooth extraction. Rat mandibular second molars were extracted.

Marked by iron buildup and lipid peroxidation, ferroptosis is a relatively new regulatory cell death (RCD) pathway. Many diseases like cancer, myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI), neurological disorders and acute renal failure (AKI) are corelated with ferroptosis. The main molecular processes of ferroptosis discovered yet will be presented here, along with the approaches in which it interacts with tumour-associated signaling pathways and its uses in systemic therapy, radiation therapy, and immunotherapy managing tumors.

Objective: The aim of this study was to establish a three-dimensional finite element (FE) hydraulic pressure technique model and compare the biomechanical characteristics of the osteotome technique and the hydraulic pressure technique using three-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA).
Methods: Three FE models were created: the hydraulic pressure technique (M1), the osteotome technique with a Ø 1.6-mm osteotome (M2), and the osteotome technique with a Ø 3.
