Aim: Some countries are hesitant to implement routine varicella vaccination for children because of concerns over the exogenous boosting hypothesis, which suggests that vaccinating children may increase herpes zoster cases in adults. However, substantial evidence supporting this hypothesis is lacking. This study assessed the association between a child's varicella vaccination status and herpes zoster occurrence in adults in the same household.

We present the genome of BDSA isolated from ready-to-eat (RTE) meat collected in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The genome displays the Listeria pathogenicity island 1 and virulence, stress response, and antimicrobial resistance genes. It was phylogenetically classified as ST7, and clustered with serotype 1/2a belonging to lineage II.

Objective: There is limited research on weight bias in diagnosing eating disorders (EDs), particularly among healthcare professionals (HCPs). This is especially true for atypical anorexia nervosa, a diagnosis recently described in the DSM that includes people with anorexia nervosa symptoms who are not clinically underweight.
Method: Using a within-subjects design, we assessed diagnosis, diagnostic confidence, and ED-related medical knowledge among a sample of lay people and medical professionals.

Understanding the impact of environmental stimuli, such as nudges, on consumption behavior is crucial for developing effective dietary interventions. This study investigates the unit size effect, a behaviourally-oriented nudge, on chocolate consumption. In particular, it examines how different unit sizes and the presence or absence of packaging influence the quantity of chocolate consumed and the perceived energy intake in grams and calories.

This study aimed to determine whether the internalization of body ideals and sociocultural pressures to adhere to body ideals are associated with a greater likelihood of having probable muscle dysmorphia. Cross-sectional data from 1553 boys and men ages 15-35 from Canada and the United States were used. Multiple logistic regression analyses determined the association between the internalization of three body ideals, sociocultural pressures to adhere to body ideals from four sources, and having probable muscle dysmorphia.
