Graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) is one of the most common and troublesome complications after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Despite adequate GvHD prophylaxis, 30-50% of the patients still develop acute or chronic GvHD, often requiring multiple lines of therapy. Therefore, it is crucial to closely monitor the onset and the response of GvHD to therapies to identify the best available treatment for each patient.

Purpose: The aim of this review is to give an overview of the results of prospective and retrospective studies using allogenic reconstruction and postmastectomy radiotherapy (PMRT) in breast cancer and to make recommendations regarding this interdisciplinary approach.
Materials And Methods: A PubMed search was conducted to extract relevant articles from 2000 to 2024. The search was performed using the following terms: (breast cancer) AND (reconstruction OR implant OR expander) AND (radiotherapy OR radiation).

Purpose: To describe and report the outcomes of allogeneic eccentric superficial anterior lamellar keratoplasty (SALK), a novel surgical technique, in the management of total bilateral limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD).
Methods: Data were collected retrospectively on all patients with total bilateral LSCD who underwent SALK. Previous surgery, preexisting glaucoma, conjunctivalization, vascularization, lens status, and preoperative best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) were collected from medical notes.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoparticles encapsulated with a lipid bilayer, and they constitute an excellent source of biomarkers for multiple diseases. However, the heterogeneity in their molecular compositions constitutes a major challenge for their recognition and profiling, thereby limiting their application as an effective biomarker. A single-EV analysis technique is crucial to both the discovery and the detection of EV subpopulations that carry disease-specific signatures.

Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) mobilizes peripheral blood (PB) progenitor cells from bone marrow (BM) into circulation for PB stem cell transplantation (PBSCT). This study aimed to develop a population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) model of filgrastim in healthy subjects to optimize PB CD34 cell collection. Plasma filgrastim concentrations and CD34 cell count data were obtained from a clinical study involving healthy Korean subjects.
