This case report highlights a potential vaccine safety concern associated with the Pseudorabies virus (PRV) live vaccine, which warrants further investigation for comprehensive understanding. Vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), a novel syndrome of adverse events following adenovirus vector COVID-19 vaccines, was observed after vaccination with Zoetis PR-VAC PLUS. This led to a 100% morbidity and high mortality among PRV-free Danish purebred pigs from Danish Genetics Co.

Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common chronic respiratory disease that can lead to the development of various other conditions. Although genetic risk loci associated with AR have been reported, the connections between these loci and AR comorbidities or other diseases remain unclear.
Methods: This study conducted a phenome-wide association study (PheWAS) using known AR risk loci to explore the impact of known AR risk variants on a broad spectrum of phenotypes.

Methods: Our study included 390,436 participants based on health screening results conducted from 2005 to 2010 in the South Korean health screening cohort database.

Objective: Varicose vein ablation is generally indicated in patients with active/healed venous ulcers. However, patient selection for intervention in individuals without venous ulcers is less clear. Tools that predict lack of clinical improvement (LCI) after vein ablation may help guide clinical decision-making but remain limited.
