Introduction: For three decades since the term 'biomaterial' was defined in the late 1960s, the interest of the biomaterials research community in calcium phosphates (CaPs) constantly increased. After this interest reached its peak in the mid-1990s, however, it has begun its steady decline, which lasts to this day, the reasons being manifold, many of which are explicated in this review piece. As of this turning point onwards, one solution for CaP to regain its relevance has involved its use in composite structures where properties of complementary components are intended to mitigate each other's weaknesses.

Introduction and objective: in recent years, the number of oral antineoplastic and immunomodulating drugs in oncohematology has increased enormously. Often, these drugs must be administered to patients with enteral tube feeding or swallowing disorders, which causes safety problems when handling these drugs (many of them are classified as hazardous drugs). In addition, it is important to note that the administration of these drugs can also interact with enteral nutrition (EN).

The Diptera genus-group names of Johann Wilhelm Meigen are reviewed, revised, and annotated. A total of 266 available genus-group names in 69 families of Diptera are listed alphabetically, including authorship, year and page of the original publication, originally included species, type species and method of fixation, current status of the name, family placement, and any emendations that have been found in the literature. Unavailable names suppressed by ICZN rulings as well as incorrect original and subsequent spellings are included as unnumbered entries.

Remarks are given to clarify nomenclatural or taxonomic information.
