Objectives: This study investigated the effects of thread design on the soft and hard tissues around implants in rat maxillary peri-implantitis-like lesions.
Methods: Fourteen, 9-week-old, female Wistar rats were used in this study. Two types of grade IV titanium tissue-level implants with a standard V-shape and buttress threads were prepared (control and test implants, respectively).

Background: Emergency departments have high levels of uncertainty, long wait times, resource shortages, overcrowding and a constantly changing environment. Patient experience and patient safety are directly linked, yet levels of patient experience are stagnant. To improve emergency nursing care and patient experience, an emergency nursing framework HIRAID® (History including Infection risk, Red flags, Assessment, Interventions, Diagnostics, communication, and reassessment) was implemented in 29 Australian emergency departments.

Objective: To examine the impact of a new image enhancement technique on the distribution of NT measurements.
Methods: In this retrospective study, nuchal translucency (NT) images that were taken with the GE Voluson E22 ultrasound machine between May and September 2024 were collected. One operator took manual and automated NT measurements in an NT image without radiant enhancement mode followed by automated measurements in NT images with minimum, medium and maximum radiant mode.

In Chile and worldwide, walnut () production faces significant losses due to crown and root rot caused by the phytopathogen . Currently, control methods have proven insufficient or unfavorable for the environment, increasing the need for sustainable alternatives. This research evaluates nanoemulsions based on extracts of medicinal plants endemic to Chile to control in walnut crops.
