[The use of elastic plastic liners in orthodontics].

The authors suggest to make the dentures with double-layer bases using a modified technique. A layer of elastic plastic was applied only after the denture correction. Depending on indications, it was spread over the entire surface of the denture or only locally. The observation of 42 patients allowed us infer that the use of elastic plastic improved the dentures fixation and stabilization and provided a more uniform distribution of mastication pressure over the tissues under the denture. The indications for use of such dentures are grounded.
