Background: Menstrual cycle characteristics are potential indicators of hormonal exposures and may also signal cardiovascular disease risk factors, both of which are relevant to cognitive health. However, there is scarce epidemiological evidence on the association between cycle characteristics and cognitive function.
Objectives: We studied the associations of menstrual cycle characteristics at three stages of a woman's reproductive lifespan with cognitive function in midlife.

Introduction: Peripheral intravenous cannulation (PIVC) is a common and complex procedure with low first-attempt success rates, causing patient suffering and increased healthcare costs. Quiet Eye (QE) training, a gaze-focused approach, has shown promise in improving procedural PIVC skills. We will examine the effectiveness of traditional technical training (TT) and QE training (QET) on student nurse PIVC performance.

Background: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is prevalent in older adults with chronic pain, making early detection crucial for dementia prevention and healthy aging. This study aimed to determine MCI risk factors in older patients with chronic pain and to develop 9 machine learning models to identify MCI risk.
Methods: A total of 612 older patients with chronic pain were recruited between October 2023 and July 2024.
