Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) have garnered significant attention in the development of stretchable and wearable conductive hydrogels for flexible transducers. However, MOFs used in hydrogel networks have been hampered by low mechanical performance and poor dispersibility in aqueous solutions, which affect the performance of hydrogels, including low toughness, limited self-recovery, short working ranges, low conductivity, and prolonged response-recovery times. To address these shortcomings, a novel approach was adopted in which micelle co-polymerization was used for the synthesis of Zn-MOF-based hydrogels with exceptional stretchability, robust toughness, anti-fatigue properties, and commendable conductivity.

Objective: To examine the feasibility and acceptability of augmenting family-based treatment (FBT) for adolescents with anorexia nervosa (AN) or atypical anorexia nervosa (AAN) with a parent emotion coaching intervention (EC) focused on reducing parent expressed emotion.

Method: In this pilot effectiveness trial, families of adolescents with AN/AAN exhibiting high expressed emotion received standard FBT with either (1) EC group or (2) support group (an attention control condition focused on psychoeducation).

Results: Forty-one adolescents with AN or AAN were recruited (88% female, M  = 14.

Objectives: Building upon our recently developed conceptual definition of oral frailty (the age-related functional decline of orofacial structures), this e-Delphi study aims to develop an operational definition of oral frailty by identifying its components.

Methods: We used a modified e-Delphi study to reach a consensus among international experts on the components of oral frailty. Twelve out of fifteen invited experts in the field of gerodontology participated.

Background: Individuals with advanced cancer face complex challenges, including prognostic uncertainty and evolving goals of care. Despite the unique psychosocial support needs of adolescents and young adults (AYAs), few studies have specifically examined AYA perspectives of and experiences with advanced cancer. The objective of this study was to describe the experience, needs, and perspectives of pediatric AYAs with advanced cancer.
