The authors discuss ultrasound studies on bleedings during second half of pregnancy. 92 cases with bleeding during the second half of pregnancy were discovered among 3175 deliveries for the period of 1986-1987 (= 2.9% of successive consecutive deliveries at the obstetric ward of the municipal hospital in the town of Blagoevgrad). The cases are described in accordance with the number of preceding abortions, in accordance with the amount of the bleeding and in accordance with localization of placental site made by ultrasound. The authors make an inference that the formed in our country organization and abundance of ultrasound apparatuses creates conditions for early discovery and hospitalization of women with anomalies of placental site and this is important task for every prenatal clinic.

Background: This video article describes the use of bone-anchored prostheses for patients with transtibial amputations, most often resulting from trauma, infection, or dysvascular disease. Large studies have shown that about half of all patients with a socket-suspended artificial limb experience limited mobility and limited prosthesis use because of socket-related problems. These problems occur at the socket-residual limb interface as a result of a painful and unstable connection, leading to an asymmetrical gait and subsequent pelvic and back pain.

Terdizolamide phosphate (TZD), a second-generation oxazolidinone antibiotic with a long half-cycle, poses a potential threat to ecosystems and humans if present in water over an extended duration. Magnetic biochar (CF-biochar) loaded with CeFeO was firstly synthesized by microwave ablation-anaerobic carbonization using corn straw as raw material and Ce(NO) and Fe(NO) as modifiers. These modifiers were used as activators for peroxymonosulfate (PMS) and adsorbents for removing TZD.
