Background: Extraintestinal Manifestations (EIMs) of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) are frequently experienced by patients and may lead to severe symptoms and fatigue. However, the reporting patterns of these outcomes in IBD randomized controlled trials (RCTs) is not clear.
Methods: We searched placebo controlled phase 3 RCTs of advanced therapies in IBD and assessed the frequency and means of reporting EIM and fatigue data in these studies.

Maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) is a special type of diabetes characterized by clinical features including early onset of diabetes (before 30 years of age), autosomal dominant inheritance, impaired glucose-induced insulin secretion, and hyperglycemia. So far, 14 types of MODY have been reported, accounting for about 1%-5% of the patients with diabetes. MODY often presents with an insidious onset, and although 14 subtypes have been identified for MODY, it is frequently misdiagnosed as type 1 or type 2 diabetes due to overlapping clinical features and high costs and limitations of genetic testing.

Purpose: Disruptions in global sagittal spinal alignment can lead to changes in global sagittal spinal alignment, often manifesting as sagittal malalignment, where the trunk shifts forward. We proposed that these alignment changes are linked to degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis (DS). The objective was to assess global spinal alignment in low-grade DS using sagittal vertical axis (SVA) classification.

Background & Aims: Erythropoietic protoporphyria (EPP) is caused by mutations in ferrochelatase which inserts iron into protoporphyrin-IX (PP-IX) to generate heme. EPP is characterized by PP-IX accumulation, skin photosensitivity, cholestasis, and end-stage liver disease. Despite available drugs that address photosensitivity, treatment of EPP-related liver disease remains an unmet need.
