The current literature relating to the novel Hugo RAS System lacks consistent data concerning the bedside features of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN). To describe the trocar placement and docking settings for RAPN with a three-arm configuration to streamline the procedure with Hugo RAS, between October 2022 and April 2023, twenty-five consecutive off-clamp RAPNs for renal tumors with the Hugo RAS System were performed. We conceived a trouble-free three-arm setting to ease and standardize RAPN trocar placement and docking settings with Hugo RAS.

Aims: In the front of the mouth, the treatment of such a bony defect carries the risk of a poor aesthetic outcome. High patient expectations, combined with the difficulty of recreating a large mass of viable bone in which a dental implant will be biomechanically stable is a real challenge. PURPOSE OF TREATMENT: The intention of this treatment was to replace the patient's chronically infected upper right incisor with a dental implant that was both biomechanically and aesthetically stable for the long term.

Statement Of Problem: In clinical situations where implant placement in the maxilla is prohibited due to the lack of available bone, more invasive techniques such as autogenous bone grafting and sinus augmentation are often off-putting to patients due to the added expense, risk and morbidity. Purpose of treatment: The intention of this treatment was to dentally restore a patient with a severely resorbed edentulous maxilla, without the use of any grafting techniques.

Methods: Under local anaesthetic, five implants were placed in the patient's maxilla using the combined techniques of alveolar ridge-splitting and a Summer's lift.

Catheter function was retrospectively analysed after surgical placement in 21 children requiring peritoneal dialysis for acute renal failure due to haemolytic uraemic syndrome. Substantial benefits were shown to have accrued from partial omentectomy which resulted in reliable access and trouble-free drainage in the 11 patients in whom it was carried out. Conversely 4 of 10 patients in whom partial omentectomy was not done experienced total catheter blockage whilst the other 6 experienced intermittent poor drainage.

Use of the fibula as a free bone graft has been advocated in the treatment of femoral neck fractures, either fresh or where there is established non-union. There is debate about the best surgical technique; we present ours, which is simple and trouble-free.
