Hydraulic functionality is crucial for tree productivity and stress tolerance. According to the theory of the fast-slow economics spectrum, the adaptive strategies of different tree species diverge along a spectrum defined by coordination and trade-offs of a suite of functional traits. The fast- and slow-growing species are expected to differ in hydraulic efficiency and safety; however, there is still a lack of investigation on the mechanistic association between tree growth rate and tree hydraulic functionality.

: Vascular access complications, particularly high venous pressure, pose significant challenges for hemodialysis patients undergoing hemodialysis. Limited research has focused on identifying predictive factors for invasive treatment. This study aimed to identify patients who might benefit from frequent monitoring and conservative management based on duplex ultrasound (DUS) evaluation.

: Although multimodal pain therapy (MPT) is widely used in pain management for chronic cervical radiculopathy, its effect on increasing muscle strength in patients with cervical radiculopathy is not well documented. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a structured multimodal pain management program on muscle strength in these patients, using objective strength measurements as indicators of therapeutic success. : This non-randomized, uncontrolled, prospective clinical study initially included 35 patients, but 10 were excluded due to incomplete data, resulting in a final sample of 25 patients (14 women and 11 men, aged 42 to 84 years) with cervical radiculopathy who underwent a multimodal pain management program at a specialized orthopedic clinic.

: This study aimed to evaluate the recurrence rates at three years for upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) cases managed conservatively, using Narrow Band Imaging (NBI)-assisted flexible ureteroscopy and Holmium laser vaporization. : The study group included 61 patients who were diagnosed with NBI-assisted visualization with superficial pyelo-calyceal urothelial tumor lesions, treated conservatively by the flexible ureteroscopic approach and Holmium laser vaporization, also assisted by NBI. This was compared with a control group with the same number of cases, which underwent the same procedure, but without NBI technology.
