Labial adhesions are usually seen in early childhood or in the postmenopausal years, but this clinical entity is rarely seen in the reproductive years. We report a case of labial adhesion with acute urinary retention secondary to Bartholin's abscess in a reproductive-aged woman with normal menstrual periods. We emphasize the possible occurrence of labial adhesion following Bartholin's abscess in the reproductive years with normal estrogen levels.

In women after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), complications associated with the original disease and therapies used both before and after transplantation often occur, which significantly affects their quality of life. The most common gynaecological complications include secondary cancers, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), infertility and chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). Cervical cancer is the most common secondary genital cancer in patients after HSCT.

Lichen planus is an inflammatory disease that affects the skin and mucous membranes, and although rare, it can manifest in the vulvar region. Vulvar lichen planus can occur in women of reproductive age and may cause vulvar adhesion, potentially complicating examinations and delivery during pregnancy. We report a case in which a pregnant woman with vulvar adhesion due to vulvar lichen planus successfully delivered vaginally following labiaplasty.

Objectives: The aim of this in-vitro study was to investigate the masking efficacy of adhesively sealed enamel cracks with resin infiltration compared with the use of a universal adhesive.
Methods: Enamel cracks were induced on the labial surfaces of bovine teeth using a pendulum impact tester. Specimens were treated adhesively by resin infiltration with ICON (DMG) or Scotchbond Universal Plus (3M).
