Objective: To study the flavonoids in the fruits of Buddleja lindleyana.

Methods: The compounds were separated by repeated silica gel, RP-18 and Sephadex LH-20. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral data.

Results: Five flavonoids were isolated and identified as luteolin (1), tricin (2), acacetin (3), acacetin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4) and linarin(5).

Conclusion: Compounds 3,4 and 5 are isolated from fruits of Buddleja lindleyana for the first time. Compound 2 is isolated from fruits of Buddleja lindleyana for the first time.

In the study reported in this manuscript, silver/iron oxide nanocomposites (Ag/FeO) were phytosynthesized using the extract of via a green, economical and eco-friendly strategy. The biosynthesized Ag/FeO nanocomposites were characterized using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, FTIR, XRD, TEM, DLS and SEM-EDX analyses. The particulates showed a triangular and spherical morphology having sizes between 25 and 174 nm.

The rhizospheres of three dominant plant species (, and ) growing in manganese residue disposal sites in eastern Guizhou Province, China, were analyzed to study the effects of plant growth on the nutrient levels and bacterial community structure of two types of manganese residues. The results showed that the growth of the three species improved the nutritional composition of manganese residues; the available nitrogen (AN) contents of the manganese mine residue significantly increased by 29.56-60.
