In March 1989, the National Cancer Institute's Physician Data Query (PDQ) celebrated its fifth year. PDQ, a computerized cancer information database, was created to enhance the communication and application of cancer research data to the oncology community. Because of the variety and currency of the information contained within the system, it can be an extremely valuable resource for cancer nurses and patients. Future enhancements of the system will provide nurses with even more material for patient teaching and self-learning. This article discusses the development of PDQ, reviews its content and objectives, and identifies its possible uses for oncology nurses practicing in a variety of patient care settings.

Objective: This study aimed to clarify the physical activity level of patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer during outpatient chemotherapy and the factors associated with decreased physical activity levels after drug administration.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, activity intensity and steps were measured using an accelerometer in 39 patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer for 1 week before and after drug administration. Furthermore, the participants responded to a questionnaire on their lifestyles.
Objective: China's diverse economic landscape across its regions may contribute to disparities in cancer-related financial toxicity (FT), but empirical evidence is lacking. This study examined regional disparities in cancer-related FT across economically diverse provinces in China.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among adult patients with cancer from six tertiary and six secondary hospitals across three Chinese provinces with varying economic statuses (high-, middle-, and low-income).
