To describe a case of breast cancer manifested by cerebellar syndrome and to establish a relationship between breast cancer and Paraneoplastic syndromes through the presence of anti- yo antibodies in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of a patient. Our patient was 52 years old, Multipara with 5 children alive. She had been 3 years post-menopausal under Hormonal Replacement Therapy. Weight: 46.7 Kg; Height: 1.60 m; Body Surface Area: 1.59 m(2). Nil history of alcohol or tobacco smoking. Nil history suggestive of malignancies or autoimmune diseases. Her Blood group was oRh positive, nil presence of irregular agglutinins. She was admitted to the neurology service for vertigo and it was determined an isolated cerebellar syndrome. All tests were negative including tumor markers and radiological imaging. The clinical gynecological examination was perfectly normal. The diagnosis hypothesis was "meningo-encephalocerebellitis of viral origin" but with persistence and aggravation of the cerebellar syndrome, despite treatment. We decided to search, antibodies, anti-Hu, anti-Yo, anti-Ri, and anti Ta. Anti Yo was positive + + + in the cerebrospinal fluid and serum of the patient. The search for a gynecological cancer included a mammography which revealed micro calcifications in the left breast + + +. A lumpectomy of the left breast accompanied with x-ray identification of the micro calcifications was done and the histology showed a High Grade Intraductal carcinoma of the left breast with two homes of 3mm and 1 mm, corresponding to an infiltrating carcinoma of the left breast, grade II tumor of Scarff and Bloom (SBRII, 21 N + / 26, RH +, low Ki 67) and Estrogen and progesterone receptor positive +: multifocal cancer. Following the lumpectomy, mastectomy with ganglion clearing was done with adjuvant chemotherapy (FEC 6 Cycles): histology still showed Infiltrating Intraductal Carcinoma of the left breast, grade II tumor of Scarff and Bloom. Radiotherapy was followed and he patient was placed on hormonal therapy with Tamoxifen. The Patient's general condition was good with regression of cerebellar syndrome. Anti-Yo auto antibodies are quasi-specific for gynecological or breast tumors. Several hypotheses have been advanced on the pathophysiology and one wonders if someday, it will fail to do a very early diagnosis of cancer, including the breast cancers on the basis of the antigen-antibody reaction.

Paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration (PCD) with anti-Yo antibodies represents a rare immune-mediated paraneoplastic neurological syndrome. Its diagnosis and management remain clinically challenging. Here, we present a case of PCD with confirmed anti-Yo antibodies, validated through anti-cerebellar degeneration protein 2 (CDR2) and anti-CDR2-like antibodies detection, which demonstrated a favorable response to ofatumumab therapy.

Introduction: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized cancer therapy by enhancing the antitumor immune response. This case describes an 80-year-old male with synchronous multiple primary malignancies (MPMs), including lung metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC), and brain metastatic urothelial carcinoma, who was treated with dual ICI therapy.
Case Presentation: The patient, with a history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, well-differentiated neuroendocrine duodenal tumors and micronodular exogenous cirrhosis (Child-Pugh class A), presented with a non-invasive bladder carcinoma (pT1N0M0) resected endoscopically in December 2022.

Background: Friedreich's ataxia (FA) is a rare genetic disorder caused by silencing of the frataxin gene (FXN), which leads to multiorgan damage. Nrf2 is a regulator of FXN, which is a modulator of oxidative stress in animals and humans. Omaveloxolone (Omav) is an Nrf2 activator and has been reported to have antioxidative potential in various disease conditions.

Introduction: Very rarely, adult NMDAR antibody-associated encephalitis (NMDAR-E) leads to persistent cerebellar atrophy and ataxia. Transient cerebellar ataxia is common in pediatric NMDAR-E. Immune-mediated cerebellar ataxia may be associated with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG), aquaporin-4 (AQP-4), kelch-like family member 11 (KLHL11), and glutamate kainate receptor subunit 2 (GluK2) antibodies, all of which may co-occur in NMDAR-E.

Purpose: This study aimed to elucidate the distribution of intracranial gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in patients with infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) of normal brain MRI findings using I-iomazenil single-photon emission computed tomography (IMZ-SPECT).
Methods: This retrospective study compared IMZ-SPECT images from 20 patients with IESS of unknown etiology with normal brain MRI (unknown IESS group) and 23 patients with developmentally normal epilepsy of the same age (developmentally normal group). A three-dimensional stereotactic region of interest (ROI) template was used to divide the brain into 24 segments (left and right callosomarginal, precentral, central, parietal, angular, temporal, posterior cerebral, pericallosal, lenticular nucleus, thalamus, hippocampus, and cerebellum), and the mean accumulation of I-iomazenil in each ROI was calculated.
